Our aspiration when working with personal data

“KVYAT” processes personal data with two main goals: the first is to deliver the ordered products as quickly and accurately as possible, and the second is to inform the user about news, activities and promotions. The security of each client’s data is of great importance to us and to our public image. That is why we apply all appropriate technical means at our disposal to prevent unauthorized access or premature loss of data. This “Privacy Policy” aims to explain how and why we use personal data.

How and why we use personal data

For the performance of the product purchase and sale contract: we process personal data to send a product (sunglasses, prescription frames and other optical products) that have been ordered through the online e-commerce platform www.kwiat.bg.

We process the data to inform the guarantor about company news, promotions and activities that could be useful when purchasing a product from KWIAT. The processing is carried out for the purpose of sending an online newsletter.

What data do we process

Identification data: full name
Other data: delivery address, contact phone number and email address.

How and where we store personal data

All personal data is stored in the system of “KVYAT” EOOD.

When do we delete personal data

All personal data that we store will be deleted two years after the last account activity on our online platform.

Your rights regarding the processing of personal data

Right to information

You have the right to request:

information on whether data concerning you are being processed, information on the purposes of such processing, on the categories of data and on the recipients or categories of recipients to whom the data are disclosed;
a communication in an intelligible form containing your personal data that are being processed, as well as any available information about their source;
information on the logic of any automated processing of personal data concerning you, at least in the case of automated decisions.

Right to rectification

In the event that we process incomplete, incorrect or erroneous data, you have the right at any time to request:

to delete, correct or block your personal data, the processing of which does not meet the requirements of the law;
to notify third parties to whom their personal data have been disclosed of any deletion, correction or blocking, except in cases where this is impossible or involves disproportionate effort.

Right to object

You have the right at any time to:

object to the processing of your personal data where there is a legal basis for this. Where the objection is justified, the personal data of the individual concerned may no longer be processed;
object to the processing of your personal data for direct marketing purposes;

Right to complain

If you believe that we are violating the applicable regulations, please contact us to clarify the issue. Of course, you have the right to file a complaint with the Personal Data Protection Commission. After May 25, 2018, you can also file a complaint with a regulatory authority within the EU.

Please inform other users, if they use services purchased from you, about the processing and transmission of your data.

Applications for access to information or for correction are submitted in person or by a person expressly authorized by you, through a notarized power of attorney. An application can also be submitted electronically, in accordance with the Electronic Document and Electronic Signature Act.

We will decide on your request within 14 days of its submission. If a longer period is objectively necessary in order to collect all the requested data, and this seriously hinders our activities, this period may be extended to 30 days. With our decision, we grant or deny access and/or the information requested by the applicant, but we always motivate our response.
